Panel Discussion on the 10th Anniversary of Teaching at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences

Within the framework of the 10th anniversary events of the start of education at our university, a panel will be held by the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences on Tuesday, October 31, 2023.

YKS 2023 University Entrance Exam Results

According to the results of the YKS 2023 exam conducted by ÖSYM, the success rankings of high school graduate students who preferred our Department were determined.

Visits by our Economics bachelor students in Germany

After 16 of our first cohort of economics students attended the three-week Economics Summer School in Germany in 2019, six of them continued their education at the University of Halle in the 2021-2022 academic year. 10 students from the second cohort will attend the Summer School of Economics at the University of Hohenheim in September 2022, five students from the same class will continue their education at the University of Halle in the 2022-2023 academic year.

The place of our Economics department in the YKS preference rankings

The success rankings of the candidates who preferred our Department of Economics Undergraduate Program between 2017 and 2021 are gradually increasing.

International DAAD-TGU Conference on Economic Dimensions of Sustainability

Our Economics Department is organizing an international conference on "Economic Dimensions of Sustainability" on 12-13 May 2022 at the SFL Conference Hall.

Double Diploma Workshop

Turkish-German University Department of Economics held a workshop on the subject of double degree program preparations in our university on February 17th, 2022 with the participation of Dr. Tobias Weirowski and Kati Gaudig from Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg.

Mevlana Exchange Program

A cooperation protocol was signed between the Turkish-German University Department of Economics and Martin-Luther Universität Halle-Wittenberg within the scope of Mevlana Exchange Program. With the cooperation, it is planned to provide an important opportunity for the students of the Department of Economics to study at one of the most established universities in Germany for 1 year, as well as improve their language skills and get to know German culture.

Department of Economics Internship Opportunity

An optional internship course has been included in the curriculum of the Department of Economics in order to practically improve the knowledge and skills gained during the education period of the undergraduate students of the Turkish-German University Department of Economics, and as of the summer of 2021, the students have started to do internships.

Online Meeting with Our Students

Academics of Economics Department who couldn’t meet with the students face-to-face, nevertheless wanting to overcome this drawback using online channels, to listen to the students with regards to every grade and to answer the questions of the students, met with 2 nd graders on 6 th of October, 1 st graders on 7 th of October.
