As the Department of Economics at the Turkish-German University, we feel the sorrow of bidding farewell to Prof. Dr. Aykut Kibritçioğlu, who has served with great dedication in academic and administrative duties for many years. Throughout his distinguished academic career, he has made valuable contributions to our faculty, our department, and the scientific community through his research, teaching, and the students he has mentored.
