The academic article authored by our Research Assistant İbrahim Başaran, in collaboration with his supervisor Ercan Eren, has been published in the Journal of Research in Economics, Politics & Finance (EPFAD).
Titled “Complexity Macroeconomics: An Agent-Based Model”, the study proposes a macroeconomic framework based on the interactions of heterogeneous and boundedly rational agents, offering an alternative to traditional equilibrium-based macroeconomic models. By adopting the complex adaptive systems perspective, the paper provides a more dynamic and realistic approach to analyzing macroeconomic fluctuations and economic uncertainty.
