Our department has achieved a significant milestone in line with its vision of elevating education quality to international standards. Following rigorous and comprehensive evaluations conducted by STAR (Association for Accreditation and Rating of Social Sciences, Humanities and Basic Sciences), our Economics (German) Undergraduate Program has been granted accreditation.
In this joint quality initiative carried out within our faculty, our Economics (German) Undergraduate Program—along with the Business Administration and Political Science & International Relations (German) programs—has been certified for a period of 4 years, effective from March 11, 2026, to March 11, 2030.
This success, certified for four years, proves that our curriculum, analytical education model, and academic outcomes are in full compliance with global standards. While confirming the quality of our economics education in German, this accreditation will add value t our graduates' competitive advantage in both the international job market and academia. As the Department of Economics, we will resolutely continue our efforts to optimize our educational quality continuously and to raise well-equipped economists who will shape contemporary economic dynamics.
